Anies Ensures Supporting Transportation Facilities Readiness for Asian Games

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan ensures supporting facilities and infrastructure for Asian Games transportation are ready.

All supporting transportation facilities for Asian Games are ready

"We want to inform all Jakartans and other parties that all supporting transportation facilities for Asian Games are ready," he affirmed after becoming the leader in Jakarta Transportation Dept.'s Transportation Facilities and Infrastructures Preparation in order to support Asian Games XVIII and Asian Para Games III, at Silang Monas area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (8/8).

He believes, Jakarta Transportation Dept. can handle and find a solution to unravel traffic congestion in travel route that will be used by foreign guests during Asian Games and Asian Para Games.

"I entrust this challenge to you and I believe you all can solve it well," he stated.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) Head, Andri Yansyah explained, 493 Dishub personnel who attend in this assembly will be on duty at Asian Games and Asian Para Games events.

"We also deploy 1,429 vehicles in different types to support the succession of these two International events," he explained.
